Celebrating the First Round of Grants at the Change Makers Breakfast
At Parikh Giving Alliance, we believe real change begins with inspired action and the right support. We are proud to be a grant-making foundation rooted in the Central Florida community, working to empower nonprofits that are making a lasting difference in healthcare, education, and the arts. Our mission is built on the idea that collaboration accelerates impact—that by bringing people and organizations together, we can amplify efforts and create transformative outcomes.

On April 10, 2025, we hosted our first-ever Change Makers Breakfast, an invitation-only gathering that brought together 50 local nonprofit leaders, donors, and community champions. This intimate celebration recognized the recipients of our inaugural round of grants—and ignited meaningful conversations about the power of collective action.
We received a remarkable number of thoughtful applications—each representing a vital need and a creative solution. While it was difficult to narrow our selections, we are thrilled to support nine organizations that reflect the values of innovation, collaboration, and compassion.

Our Grant Recipients
🎉 Event Fund Mini-Grants – $1,500 each
Recognizing the role of fundraising events in building unrestricted support, we awarded $1,000 grants to help amplify three exciting nonprofit events:
The Faine House – Providing resources for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
Haitian American Art Network – Promoting cultural heritage through community-based arts experiences.
Skate Bud Program, Inc. – Empowering youth through skateboarding and mentorship.
🌱 Seedling Spark Grants – $2,500 each
These emerging programs show exceptional promise and align closely with our mission to foster wellness, creativity, and inclusion:
Community Clay Connections – Offering therapeutic clay workshops that nurture mental wellness and build community.
Chance 2 Dance, Inc. – Delivering adaptive dance programs for individuals of all abilities, promoting inclusion through movement.
Grace Counseling Center of Florida – Providing accessible, compassionate mental health care for individuals and families.
🔥 Community Catalyst Grants – $5,000 each
Awarded to organizations that exemplify collaboration and innovation, these grants support sustainable programs already creating ripples of impact:
4Roots (The 4R Foundation, Inc.) – Advancing health and food sustainability through local agriculture and education.
Drums In Recovery, Inc. – Using music therapy to support individuals on their journey through addiction recovery.
Dave’s House – Providing permanent supportive housing for individuals living with serious mental illness.
Each of these grantees represents the very best of what our region has to offer: bold ideas, passionate leadership, and an unwavering commitment to building stronger communities.
