Meet Our Founders

Amish M. Parikh, MD and Beena M. Parikh, PhD are Central Florida natives, are the visionaries behind the Parikh Giving Alliance. Dr. Beena Parikh, a clinical psychologist, has devoted her career to advancing healthcare, education, and the arts. Dr. Amish Parikh, a renowned cardiologist and President of Premier Cardiology, is equally passionate about fostering holistic well-being and innovation in these areas. Together, their shared commitment to empowering nonprofits and enriching the cultural fabric of the region as part of Amish & Beena Parikh Family Fund has driven the Parikh Giving Alliance’s mission to accelerate meaningful change in healthcare, education, and the arts through strategic collaboration and philanthropy.

Beena M. Parikh, PhD, is a passionate advocate for healthcare, education, and the arts in Central Florida. With a background in clinical psychology, she is committed to advancing mental wellness and holistic community well-being. Beena’s philanthropic work is centered on empowering nonprofits that drive positive change, particularly through initiatives that increase accessibility and innovation. She actively supports organizations like the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation and the Dr. Phillips Center, contributing to educational programs, arts accessibility, and healthcare outreach. Beena’s mission is to inspire transformational impact across the community through dedicated service and strategic collaboration.

Amish M. Parikh, M.D., a Central Florida native, is a dedicated cardiologist, entrepreneur, and community advocate who is passionate about healthcare, education, and the arts. With a background shaped by prestigious institutions like the University of Miami and University of South Florida, Dr. Parikh blends medical expertise with a commitment to philanthropy. His leadership has catalyzed initiatives benefiting local schools, childhood wellness, and cultural arts programs. Through roles with organizations like A Gift for Teaching and events like India Day in partnership with the Orlando Magic, he amplifies community engagement. Alongside his wife, Beena, he supports the Dr. Phillips Center and various cultural projects, striving to create lasting impact across Central Florida.

Organizational

The Parikh Giving Alliance, a 501(c)(3) organization registered on March 28, 2023 (FIN: 92-3227920), is initially funded through the generous private donations of Amish and Beena Parikh. As the foundation enters its first phase, these contributions will sustain its operations, with plans to expand fundraising efforts externally in phase two. Donors benefit from tax deductions under current tax laws, and future donations will also qualify for tax-deductible status as applicable. While the foundation is not exempt from sales tax, all financial filings are managed by a private CPA firm to ensure compliance with 501(c)(3) reporting requirements. This information will be publicly accessible.
